I wanted to thank you for all you did to make our week in Ireland a time to remember. We loved all of your commentary, appreciated your knowledge and your patience with us, and would recommend you to anyone we know who might travel to your wonderful country. You went "above and beyond" the call of duty and for that I extend a special thanks.
We're still not able to adjust to the time change as well as the letdown in returning to a quiet home after such a fun and lively vacation.
Phelim, you have no idea what a difference you made in our enjoyment of our visit to Ireland. Normally when we travel, we spend a lot of time deciding where we want to go and what we want to see. After the first day, we all realized that we could just put the Ireland books away and let you take the lead.
We loved your jokes, stories and your consideration of our requests as well as your informative answers to all our questions. You were an absolute delight to be with!
This was our first trip to Ireland and we learned a lot about its history because of you. You made the trip very interesting and informative. We have never seen so many shades of green before either. Absolutely beautiful scenery.
I am probably repeating myself but a HUGE thank you for all that you did.
We met a lady at the hotel on Tuesday evening (another retired American professor) who has owned a home in Cork for the last 20 years. She had closed up her Cork home for the winter and was returning to DC. She asked a lot of questions about our tour and was amazed at the things we got to see. She said we must have had an exceptional tour guide, most tours don't come close to the sites and information we got.
But we all knew that Phelim was incredible didn't we?

Just want to say to all of you how much Ed and I enjoyed all of your company on the trip...we had a really wonderful time...certainly due to the great tour and narration of Phelim...and the caring, sensitivity, competence and friendliness of he and the endearing Mo...but also due to the great people that you all are...

"We just returned from a trip to Ireland. What a wonderful time we had. We arrived in Dublin and joined a tour group set up by Undiscovered Britain & Ireland. This group consisted of a total of 14 people, six of which were handicapped and in wheel chairs or scooters. We travelled in a special 55 seat bus that was outfitted with an electric lift and a special area where the seats had been removed to accommodate the wheel chairs and scooters and each could be secured to the floor for travelling in comfort.
The bus driver was a native of Dublin and knew the history of Ireland and its landmarks in great depth. He was a great tour director and narrator who was able to guide us and explain everything we came across on the tour. His name was ‘Phelim” and was a delightful person."
“Just a note to thank you and tell you how much we enjoyed our trip with you at the helm. You really made the trip and handled everything from the expert driving to the great information on the history and the sites we visited. Your humour and delightful accent kept everyone smiling and you quickly became just one of the group. You provided us more than any driver I have ever used in the past. I hope you enjoyed being with us as much we enjoyed being with you. I will certainly recommend you to anyone needing a great driver with the personality to match.”
